Bishnupur Public Industrial Training Institute, established in 2015, is a unique endeavour of Bishnupur Public Education Institute. It is affiliated to N.C.V.T., New Delhi & accredited by Quality Council Of India. Few young entrepreneurs of Bishnupur founded a trust with a dream to set-up an Education Hub at Bishnupur. The whole endeavour is being headed by Mr. SatyaSadhan Dutta, a man of distinguished personality, innovative ideas and indomitable courage.
The Institute nestled in the lap of nature, provides an enriching atmosphere where students are encouraged to develop their physical, intellectual and technical faculty. It is situated in well-lit, airy, spacious edifices on lush-green beautifully landscaped campus at out-skirts of temple town Bishnupur. It has hygienic, pollution-free, calm and quiet environment. The serene ambience of the campus is thrilled with the songs of birds, whispering wind and fascinating floral fragrance. Its sister concern Bishnupur Public Institute Of Engineering (Polytechnic College) is situate side by side. It is at Siromonipur, only 5km away from Bishnupur Railway Station and 3km from Bishnupur Bus Stand.
Our objective is to provide a comprehensive education that aims at intellectual, moral, physical, and emotional development of the students under our care. All sorts of assistance are rendered here for technical development of the students making them skilled persons. This ITI has state-of-the art laboratories, workshops and well stocked library. Theoretical knowledge when backed up by practical experiments can help students to understand the basic premises faster and more easily.
BPITI’s Vision is to create high quality center of learning, which will perpetuate the culture of India and its holistic values and to prepare dynamic and caring citizens who will meet the challenges of a global society while retaining their traditional values. The Institute has dedicated, experienced and highly qualified faculty members. They create a homely atmosphere so that students feel that they (students) feel that they are at home away from home. The teachers create an interactive ambience where the students can express their opinion freely. The valuable experience of faculty members enriches the students for all round development to become professional.
Various cultural programmes, such as, Freshers’ Welcome Ceremony, Birth Day celebrations of Great Men, Independence day celebration, Republic Day Celebration, Biswakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja etc. are held in the Institute regularly. Cultural activities refresh the minds of the students. By displaying their feat before the public they can overcome their nervousness.
The classroom teaching-learning environment gets strengthened by co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Co-curricular activities help improve skills and competencies. Extracurricular activities help in the development of intellectual, emotional, and moral values. Through these activities students amplify their self-enthusiasm and self- confidence to cope with the bigger challenges of their future life. BPITI offers sports facilities which are enumerated here: Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Khokho and Kabadi, Track& Field, Carrom, and Yoga, etc. Training is imparted by highly qualified sports personalities–Sports Director and other Teachers.
On regular basis we invite the Revered Monks of Ramkrishna Mission to deliver lectures to the students and teachers of this Institute on value based education and teachings of Sri Ramkrishna, Swami Vivekananda, Ma Sarada and Sister Nivedita for development of moral values. Considering all aspects it may be said that BPITI is an ideal Institution in W.B. for undergoing Technical Education and Skill Development for building up a bright future.
